Feeding My Addiciton

I did a ton of holiday knitting this year, working my way through quite a bit of stashed yarn. Good thing, too, because today I’m heading up to WEBS for their renowned year end blow-out sale. I can’t wait. Already swore Ellison to not complain about what I come home with – there might be a little something for her in there if she’s good.

Wondering about the pic? It’s not me, it’s Amy Singer from Knitty posing in the Purple Purl’s naked knitter calendar, which raises funds for the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation — Canada’s leading cancer research hospital. The calendars cost $20 Cdn each. The shop is closed until after the new year but if you need to have one details are after the jump:

Thanks to generous donations from partners in the yarn world as well as the time, energy and expertise of the models, photographers and helpers means that 100% of the proceeds are going to the Foundation. Your $20 purchase of each calendar will go directly to the Foundation. We think that’s kickass.
