Two fiber-filled weekends ahead. Today is RI Sheep and Wool, and I’m accompanying this fun family for some historical fun and some local yarnies. I am in the market for a diz to help with my spinning, some new and interesting fiber, and maybe a drop spindle. We’ll see. To start the morning off, though, Ursula and Ellison and I are stopping by the Southside Community Land Trust annual plant sale in search of some heirloom tomatoes, peppers, and maybe some herbs. And then tomorrow it’s the second annual Rhode Island Stitch and Pitch, where knitters of all stripes get together to watch the PawSox play in the home of the American textile industry.

Then…busy busy work week….Ellison goes to Canada…..and next weekend Kristina leaves her kids behind and we head to Massachusetts Sheep and Wool for more fiber fun. Fun!

Pics will follow. I know you can barely wait.
