On Saturday morning my sister called and invited me to a concert at Tanglewood for a performance of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. As it was a gorgeous day, and she is off to law school in the fall, it was great to get a day to spend together, one-on-one, without other family, friends, or partners. We just sat in the sun and talked and laughed and had a great old time.
I picked up this souvenir conductor’s baton for Ellison in the gift shop,and quite enjoyed conducting the orchestra when I got home.
Ellison couldn't bear to see him relegated to the blog archive, so we're displaying him over here "forevs".
